One of the things I commonly hear from authors and businesses when it comes to creating content for their online presence is that they don’t know how to produce good quality images to go with the content, or where to get the images from. The good news is that you can get started designing images like a pro with Canva.
Since the Internet, and social media, has become such a visual place, this is a pretty important piece of the puzzle. Having nice looking and relevant images to accompany your articles, or even as stand-alone posts of their own, can really help you to get the attention of the people you’re trying to reach.
So to address this problem we’ve taken two steps.
- We created a fairly in depth resource article that offers numerous links to sites where you can get both free and paid images. We also included links to some resource articles that dive deeper into describing these photo sites.
- We created a FREE, comprehensive course on exactly HOW to use Canva.
This course is very much geared towards beginners and starts right from “How to sign up”. So even if you’re the most timid of timid when it comes to computers and using something as daunting as “design software” – we promise you, this course is for you. Even if you’re not so nervous to jump in, going through the lessons that outline the different tools and elements and how to use some of them could be very beneficial and shave off a whole lot of trial and error time. You can also set the videos to play at double speed to save even more time.
There really isn’t much more to be said. These two resources pack a powerful punch in getting you on top of the imagery side of your online presence, so we recommend that you stop procrastinating and jump right in!
